Both systems can be very useful when controlling access into a highly secure area. They can be built into cash transit vans, research areas and computer rooms where access control is of high importance. The systems are available with 'time and attendance' software making it possible to determine how long a person has been on site, for both safety and economic reasons.

The hand reader requires users to present their hand to the reader unit and after 3 sample reads will hold the shape of their hand in its memory. When the user wishes to gain access they tap their 4 digit PIN number and present their hand which is then compared to the record within the machine.

The finger print reader works in an almost identical manner and requires the user to present their finger to a small reader which can be built into a door, wall or other structure.
